SUMMARY:

L.B. is frustrated and intense. She wants to show up in the world as the BEING she is. However, something inside is preventing her from doing so.

I pull out my Inner Alignment map. It's a good one for situations like this. Where one part of my client wants something to happen and another part doesn't. Split energy. An internal conflict.

She embodies the part that is interfering. It's her masculine "Inner Kick-Ass". A micro-managing part of her that analyzes and compares. In a cruel, cutthroat yet clear way.

Turns out underneath all that judgment is a soul who wants to change the world.

It's hard slogging for a while but we eventually mediate a truce.

Recognizing that this masculine part is actually a protector of sorts. Working hard to keep her authentic to quiet, tiny, cute, and weeny ways.

It got set up long ago at 8 with a mother who couldn't be counted on and too much responsibility at a young age.

We devise a new partnership of good vibes. A hieros gamos - the inner sacred marriage.

With praise, nurturing, levity, support, gentle encouragement, and baby steps. A whole new way of being together in the world, inspired by a remarkable Esalen couple who truly beamed love.
