Marvin Frink – Briarwood Cattle Farm and Curing PTSD with Cows

Marvin Frink is currently featured in People magazine discussing his cow focused PTSD therapy saved his life. Marvin worked in the same world as Pete A Turner. The demands of supporting forces overseas with his brand of intelligence takes a mighty toll.

Marvin started his ongoing recovery when he realized ranching and cattle raising gave him purpose, and therapy. Further, Marvin's ability to connect and care for these cows, helped to ground him and lighten the load of combat.

We're squeezing this show in on the eve of the #rideforthebrave with @savethebrave. Tomorrow at Oh-Dark-Thirty, Pete, Scott Huesing and the Save the Brave Team will leave Temecula headed for Tucson, El Paso, Odessa, Dallas, Houston, New Orleans, Birmingham, Atlanta, and Charleston. The ride helps create community as we all work to pull veterans back from the brink of suicide.

This year Pete is dedicating this ride to his brother Eric, a Marine, who chose to end his life in October 2022. Pete says it best, "If you want help, if you want to get better, You can. I'll help you; we'll help you. You absolutely can get better."
