Staying in the Big Band vein again today, we go with the Ray Brown Trio reprising "It Don't Mean A Thing (If It Ain't Got That Swing) into a mashup of Bruno Mars and the Beatles - go figure - and yet, somehow, as always, it works and another Segue City Special rolls out off the assembly line and marches into your ears...

Segue City is a recurring short-form programming element. At some point it will be a part of "The Big Kahuna." That’s an Internet Radio format that’s a part of Global Entertainment Technology that was created by Dain L. Schult.

It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles.

Other times there are hidden meanings and Easter Eggs in the mix as well. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
