Atheism Causes Immorality

Famous atheist Sam Harris used to be a very moral person, at least from what I could see. He has recently come out with some shockingly immoral statements. But that's what happens in an atheist worldview. There is no morality without God. We are all simply bags of matter. What's wrong with bags of matter raping and murdering other bags of matter?
