URGENT: Reject TEKS Reform in Texas

Look around you. Everything that you have, that your neighbors have, that your family in this country has has been because of the U.S. Constitution and their protected rights. Even the people who are struggling, they have the same unlimited opportunity that you have to rise up and overcome. They are not held back by class, by status, by income, or by lineage.

Every child in America has the right to grow up in the same country that you grew up in. To have the same freedom that you've had your entire life. And every country in the world that has been able to look to America as a light, has the right to live in a world where such hope exists. As you have. As past generations have for hundreds of years.

🚨A special session was called on August 1st to push this through. Lobbyists and far left CRT activists were allowed to testify, while parents were forced to wait until midnight, and then not allowed to speak.

- Teaching that the family doesn't raise the child, the community does. Then the State Government, and then the Federal Government.
- Teaching that the Founding Fathers were morally depraved thieves that stole this land.

- Teach community values, not individual liberty
- 42% of the history taught will be China's history in a favorable light

🚨THIRD - EIGHTH GRADE:

- Minimal Teaching of WWI, WWII, Vietnam, etc.

🚨5TH - Chinese Dynasties
(Again, no Texas or American history, laws or values)

- History of Government, Economics, Geography - Taught through the lens of culture.
- NO mention of the Founding Documents, but instead teaching the "spirit" of the Founding Documents
- No mention of the rights we achieved through war

- Heavy emphasis on LGBTQ
- Mandatory to study and memorize 🚨28 SELECTED GENDERS🚨
- MANDATORY COMPREHENSIVE SEX EDUCATION
- BOOKS : Lawn Boy, Gender Queer, My Rainbow, The Harvey Milk Story

🚨HIGH SCHOOL:
- World Geography
- The world happiness report
- Globalization of everything is positive
- No mention of the radical Islamic movement

* Founding Documents and U.S. Constitution is taught

* Abolitist movement is taught
* Women's Suffrage is taught
