It's water!! What is the big deal? The best water for orchids is rain, or is it? I have used tap water for years and never had a problem! My well water is perfect for my orchids! Out in nature orchids get rained on! I soak my orchids when I water them! I have never used a pH or TDS meter! All these experiences, and more, are out there, so... in this video I will address some facts when it comes to the water quality, or the lack thereof, we use to water and fertilize our orchids. Why can one orchid grower use tap water and have no issues, while the other orchid grower's orchids suffer when they use tap water? Is rain really that good for orchids as many experts say? And why, in some cases, do we have to specify which water source we are using, when we buy specific fertilizers, be it MSU or RainMix?
