ARE YOU AWARE? AWARENESS IS THE KEY TO TRANSFORMATION!

“If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!!” This is a redneck philosophy which carries a ton of basic common sense. The balance against this philosophy is the idea of incremental improvement other wise known as consistent personal growth.

The challenge for the “don’t fix it crowd” is the threat of never improving, growing or addressing the issues which don’t appear broke.

The challenge for the”constant improvement crowd” is the threat of perpetual tweaking and the shiny object syndrome. These practices often lead to constant change but not allowing a process to play itself out and prove or disprove the success of the modification.

There really are cures which are worse than the illness they address. The are paper tiger slayers who are significantly more dangerous than the paper tiger!! AWARENESS IS THE KEY to transformation - sometimes awareness is required to PREVENT a transformation which is ultimately undesirable. IMHO - WE DON’T NEED FLAME THROWERS TO DEFEAT PAPER TIGERS
