Mathis Amed Lodge is built on a magnificent plot of 2 hectares at an altitude of 400m on the heights of Amed. This stunning property is located in the Northeastern area of Bali, which is often called Bali Aga (the indigenous people of Bali) as it remains the most authentic part of the Island. This region includes intact villages still influenced by ancestral customs, mountain landscapes, rice fields and magnificent volcanoes where tourism development is mostly absent.

This beautiful lodge overlooks the ocean and is surrounded by lush mountains. This breathtaking place is a bucket list must-do when you're traveling to Bali for the scenic view, lush settings and iconic design. This property is close to the Seraya volcano, which dominates the region and shelters the famous temple Pura Lempuyang at the top of its 1600 steps.

Mathis Lodge Amed is made up of 20 individual lodges spread over their property. They stand with their amazing design and architecture, as well as eye-catching tropical roofs which made from alang-alang, which will welcome you in a unique natural atmosphere in Bali. The refined decoration style takes us into an ethnic atmosphere of East Indonesia between Papua, Sumba or Sumbawa.
