When it comes to creating stories for comics, it seems like a lot of creators are just trying to make stories that are solely to pitch movies, tv shows, or miniseries for the next streaming platform. The issue with that approach is that it artificially limits what the creator can do in the story. The beauty of comics is that you DO NOT NEED a budget. If you are able to write it into the story, you can make it. If you are able to draw it into the story, you can make it. The only budget that you truly have is the creative limitations of your own imagination.
