Notorious Holocaust Liar Kicks The Bucket

Gena Turgel is dead at 95. If you haven’t heard of Gena Turgel, do by all means read her ghost-written book I LIGHT A CANDLE, but first check out my 1996 letter to her publisher which went unanswered.

Gena Turgel was an inmate of Belsen concentration camp, that much is certain. Almost everything else she claimed or wrote about her war-time misadventures is a tissue of lies, like Belsen being an extermination camp. In her book, she claims to have shared a barracks with Anne Frank. That may be true, but the claim everybody was talking about Anne’s diary is a total fantasy. As is often the case, especially when they go unchallenged, the lies grew with every retelling. Later she would claim she gave Anne cold water and washed her down. The Hell she did.

Both HAARETZ and the BBC alluded to Mrs Turgel as the Bride of Belsen. No she wasn’t; she was only one of many such brides. Shameless liar that she was, her husband who predeceased her was even worse. He claimed to have arrested half the German officers in the camp.
One of the myriad saps who paid tribute to this wicked old woman was the so-called Moslem Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, who took time out from opening a new bathhouse in Soho for his most committed supporters.

Last month, singer-songwriter Alison Chabloz was convicted of, get this, performing songs about shameless liars likes Mrs Turgel. She was dragged into court by this little shit, Gideon Falter of the Campaign Against Anything. According to Gideon, Miss Chabloz is a hatemonger. No Gideon, the real cause of anti-Semitism in the modern world is not people like Alison Chabloz or the idiotic Jeremy Bedford-Turner, but one that lies much closer to home. Lies being the operative word.
