Unvaccinated Teachers receiving 18 week pay cut

Unvaccinated teachers will have their pay slashed for 18 weeks and even possibly terminated. - Queensland Education Minister Grace Grace said disciplinary action was always on the cards for the unvaccinated workers.

"You should be aware that any further substantiated allegations and/or breach of the Code of Conduct or Standard Practice will be viewed very seriously and may result in termination of your employment."

"The penalty imposed is specific to individual circumstances, but equates to a cut of of between $25 and $90 a week over 18 weeks, proportionate to normal pay. That means some teachers will lose out on $2,250. Principals stand to loose even more."
