Cuba is a beacon of hope

Cuba has performed miracles under the most difficult situations during the pandemic, surviving the harshest of US sanctions and prioritising the needs of her people.

Despite the imperialists' best attempts to make the Cuban masses suffer, Cuba's careful preparations, her health measures, and now the development and distribution of her own vaccines, have enabled the small island to beat the pandemic and even to extend medical help to other poor countries around the world.

The death toll from Covid amongst the Cuban people has been less than a third per head of the population of ours in Britain, and while our death count continues to mount, Cuba's new deaths have dropped almost to zero.

This is socialism in action.
