We did a thing

We reveal the real reason that we made a trip to Ohio.

Shannon and I are empty nester soon to be grandparents. While we would love to strike out and take on the open road we are currently tasked with caring for my 78 year old mother who has vascular dementia. We have been caring for her two and half years and are proud of the fact that we are in a position to take on this role. Because of her condition she is on Hospice, which affords us the ability to take some time off through the use of respite.
