I did the levels in the following order:
Brinstar
Norfair (High Jump and Jump Screw Attack)
Hideout II (Ridley Boss)
Hideout I (Kraid Boss)
Tourian (Mother Brain Boss)

The High Jump and the Jump Screw Attack makes it so much more easy and allows to get more items when we get them first.

Ice Beam is the best weapon in the game.

A missile pack adds 5 missiles and 5 maximum missiles
Killing a boss gives 50 missiles and 50 maximum missiles
An Energy Tank adds 99 health and 99 maximum health

Blue Doors need one normal shot to open
Red Doors need 5 Missiles shots and are then unlocked permanently
Other Doors colors (Purple Door and Yellow Door) take 10 Missiles shots and are then unlocked permanently
