Stony Pass, Colorado

This was my last adventure with Bonita my Jeep dog co-piloting! It was an epic drive on the 1870's wagon trail from Creede over Stony Pass to Silverton. There was an abandoned mine at the top, and I collected some of the most beautiful rocks! We had Serious Texas BBQ in Durango and stopped at Chimney Rock on the way back to South Fork. The next morning Bonita enjoyed some left-over Brisket, I captured a video of her sitting in the morning sunshine, and then she quickly passed away in the green grass under a tree with me beside her and Morgan on the phone. Rest In Peace, sweet Bonita.
