Battlefield 2042, and the AAA gaming industry in general, is currently in a death spiral. The games are poorly designed because they’re being designed around their "research" rather than being designed to be "art." Insurgency: Sandstorm is a great alternative to the nonsense we've seen from the AAA sphere.
