Mouse discovered sticks and knows I'll take them away

Mouse, my 18 week old Labradoodle has discovered the joy every dog shares in chewing on sticks. The problem is, he brings them in the house to chew them in air conditioned comfort. He knows he's not supposed to and he knows I'm going to throw it away.
