Stephen Kinzer was supposed join us in the second hour to discuss his book The True Flag: Theodore Roosevelt, Mark Twain, and the Birth of American Empire. This is the early history of statecraft and techniques used and abused to gain mastery of the earth and its peoples. It is essential reading for everyone. He was sidelined due to an emergency and will join us next week.
