Monk Amphilochius lost his leg.. He stepped on a Ukrainian anti-personnel mine PMN-2 in the village of Nikolskoye, the explosive device was laid not far from the monastery where he serves. The monk was taken to the hospital in serious condition, he survived but (clearly) now faces a long rehabilitation.
