Stop Comparing Yourself to Other Business Owners

One of the things that I would strongly advise people not to do, first of all, is not to compare yourself to others.

More importantly, not to look at others and decide that you know or understand what's going on for them.

Because as we were discussing, everybody looks at everybody else and thinks they have it all together. They're doing all these things that they have to do and all those things that they say you're supposed to do, and they're making it work, and they're doing it in conjunction with all the other things going on in their lives, and it's just rolling along smoothly.

But we know that's really not like that. That's just not what really happens.

That's actually a big piece of advice.

Don't assume you understand what's going on for other folks and what they're able to manage, and don't compare yourself to it.
