Learning experience: Motorcycle/scooter crash with car.

Long story short, I made an error in anticipating the actions of a Ford Taurus driver, and I and my 2013 Honda PCX ended up in the side of the vehicle. A key takeaway here is: when you are in a familiar place, always treat it as unfamiliar; expect anything and be mindful.

Another key takeaway, my helmet saved my life, goofy cover and all.

Third takeaway: Be aware that sun glare can obscure things like turn signals, and some drivers do not understand that a car does not need to go all the way to the opposite side of the lane to negotiate a turn.
