Ron DeSantis on Thursday announced the suspension of a Hillsborough County state attorney linked to liberal donor George Soros, arguing the official had indicated his intent to not enforce state laws related to abortion and child transgender surgery. 
DeSantis said state attorney Andrew Warren would be suspended immediately and potentially removed from office in the near future over his stated intention to ignore laws passed by the state.
