The Case of the Missing Monkey Sock

Ice cream, a monkey sock, a grieving widow, a flamboyant personal assistant and a clueless receptionist make for the funniest murder ever. When fashion designer and ice cream lover Alan Roberts turns up dead, everyone's a suspect. Is it the personal assistant who wanted to take over the company? Or the receptionist who hated his job? And what's a monkey sock? It's up to Detective Wardman to solve the mystery in The Case of the Missing Monkey Sock. This film was shot for the 48HourFilm.com competition, July 20-22, 2007. Each film in the competition had to include a prop (Ice Cream), a line of dialog ("See, that's what you get.") and a character (Alan or Alma Roberts, Fashion Designer). In addition, each team picked a film genre from a hat. We picked "Detective/Cop." We used a Panasonic DVX100a.
