“You’ll be back in the boat soon…”

Jesus WALKS on water…
(Matthew 14:22-33)

1. You are in the waves because Jesus put you there.

2. You see Jesus in the waves.

3. You think He is someone or something He isn’t.

4. Your filled with fear and in doubt.

5. IMMEDIATELY Jesus reminds you not to fear. He reassures you that it’s Him. (With a genuine heart not a prideful one)

6. You ask Jesus to prove or show you that He is who He says He is.

7. Jesus answer you and tells you to STEP out on the waves. Trusting Him to sustain you.

8. You start walking a little on the waves with your eyes on Jesus.

9. You start drowning in the waves because you took your focus off of Jesus. You yell out in DESPERATION. “JESUS SAVE ME.”

10. Jesus calls your bluff and calls you out in a loving way about not trusting in Him. He IMMEDIATELY extends out His hand to help you stop drowning.

11. You are now back in the boat with Jesus. The waves and winds STOP. You are then filled with “awe-inspired reverence.” You worship Jesus and KNOW that He truly is WHO He says HE is.
