PLANTING GOD’S SEEDS OF TIME
1 Corinthians 3:7 King James Version
7 So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.
GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA GANG!!!
I have to say guys, that every time I read this parable, God shows me something new from it and I'm really thankful for that. One thing I see from this parable, is how we need to be patient when we’re “sowing the seeds of the gospel”, because sometimes those seeds take some time to grow. Sometimes you need to do a whole lot of spiritual digging when you're planting and sowing these seeds, because there are different types of personalities out there. Ultimately as this verse above states God is the one who brings about the increase, who brings souls to salvation, so we need to be patient and allow God's perfect plan to be established and accomplished. I think that's why these questions from this morning's devotional are so thought provoking, as well as challenging to my heart right now, and I'd like to share them with you all tonight. I invite you all to read these questions very carefully, and I pray that God will speak to you through them as well.
Consider an example of how you shared the good news with someone. How did that person respond?
What I’d like to do right now my friends, is share some thoughts that God showed me through His Word in this vlog I'd like to share with you tonight. It speaks a lot about how we are God's seed planters, and that we need to be patient when we're sowing the seeds of His Word. Come join me in this vlog, and learn what it means to so God’s seeds in His timing! 😊
As I close this post with all of you tonight, I want to leave you with this final question from this morning's devotional, and I pray that it will challenge you in your witness for Christ to the sliced and dying world.
How are you praying for that person today?
Are you praying for that person at all? If not start doing so! Pray that God will soften their hearts, and open their eyes to the truth, but most of all be patient. Remember what Kenneth Petersen stated in this morning's devotional, when he said, “As God works through us and we share our faith with others, we never know if the word we share will take or when. But we're to be encouraged that our sewing of the good news might, even after many years, be received by someone who will “except it, and produce a crop” (4:20).” Don't be afraid, to share the good news with that person, but most of all share it! https://www.ccphilly.org/do-you-know-...
