HOLY GRAIL CONSOLE ACQUIRED!

That's right, we have added one of the most desirable systems of all time to our collection, but which system could it be?

We already have a Virtual Boy.

We have a Nuon.

Unlike Kris over at @GameDad or Jay over at @Square Pegswe have a JVC X'EYE and a white Japanese Sega Saturn.

But this one, this one my friends is different. This one is very rare

It is very shiny...

It is a Panasonic Q.

For those who don't know what a Panasonic Q is, it is a Japanese version of the GameCube, but it adds some additional functionality that the stock system did not have. The Panasonic Q is actually capable of not only playing GameCube games but also playing DVDs. Yes, I know, digital is forever, physical is dead, blah, blah. But it's something I have wanted for a long time.

The system is mostly complete, including the box, and the stock Panasonic controller. It is missing the styrofoam from inside the box and the DVD remote control, so it is not quite CIB, but having the controller and the box is really awesome.

This particular system needs some TLC as it is afflicted by one of the most common problems with this system, the disk drive rails have broken. Thankfully, there are plans for replacement units available on Thingiverse to be 3D printed, and I have already done so and they look spectacular. I will be shooting a video to show this repair, and I will also be replacing the drive belt that opens and closes the disk drive.
