Becky fires the mighty .500 S&W Magnum in Alaska. She's is a cool lady with a great sense of humor, and a dear friend. The .500 IS a painful pistol to shoot. I had my turn with this particular pistol too, and if I recall correctly, I only fired two rounds, and had enough. Neato firearm, but useful only for hunting and range toy purposes. Carrying it for "bear defense" is for fools. For the hunters using it to hunt with, it's not even really good at that. Kills the hell out of ballistics gel and beer cans though! 😁
