I have to include this because its part of my music timeline, i went to London to seek fame in fortune in 1995 at the height of Britpop, it turned out to be a joke with no music scene in london whatsoever it was all media hype. Anyway i answered an advert to join a north london band who turned out to be an aussie couple with a recording setup in their flat, i contributed the backing tracks and she put down vocals and her partner wrote lyrics and produced it. They then put a band together with me included.. their were five of us altogether and we did some gigs in london including camden town, this all lasted for about 6 months before i made my escape. The other guitarist who had joined the band was a scottish lad my age called steve, i asked him if he fancied going to the USA travelling? and he said "yeah why not".. but that's a whole different story.
