And off to the races we go today with Led Zeppelin and Johnny Winter tangling up for the Segue City Special for today Led Zep is wailing about a heartbreaker while Johnny is trying to warn someone that the smart move is to drink up and get the hell out of that bar... too bad his advice wasn't taken... oh well, the segue works, we've worked and now we're out of the studio...
Segue City is a recurring short-form programming element. At some point it will be a part of "The Big Kahuna." That’s an Internet Radio format that’s a part of Global Entertainment Technology that was created by Dain L. Schult.
It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles.
Other times there are hidden meanings and Easter Eggs in the mix as well. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
