Missing, my dog, !
If the dog doesn't come to you, it may be necessary to use a large humane trap and place it where the dog was last seen. You can borrow one from an animal control center or local animal shelter, or rent one from an equipment rental company. When searching, bring treats and slides, which can quickly get over the dog's head without the need for a leash to be attached to the collar.
Tip: Walk, jog, or move away from the dog to see if it's following you. This is less of a threat than direct approach.
