The best FREE way to run Windows 11 on m1 Mac's

Today we look at a free program based on QEMU for running Windows & Linux on the new MacBook Pros, and Mac Mini with the m1, m1 max and m1 pro Apple Silicon chips. This emulator isn't as impressive as Paralells in terms of running Windows 11 on Apple Silicon ARM CPUs, but it can still outperform Microsoft surface devices.

In many ways UTM is equivalent to virtualbox for M1, like virtualbox it has subpar graphics performance but is open source and highly versatile.

On Intel Mac's you could simply use Bootcamp in order to install Windows on a Mac, but on the new Apple Silicon series you need to use a virtualization software. UTM is capable of both running a virtual machine (another ARM os), or running an emulated qemu VM.
