Western Hognose Snake Shedding (Klatuu)

I was lying on the ground while my snakes free roamed the room and Klatuu decided to come over and start her shedding process by crawling underneath me.

This is the longest period, between when “in blue” ends and when the actual shed happens, that Klatuu has ever had. She went a full two weeks before deciding that I was where she wanted to shed at (she had a humid hide in her enclosure at the time).

This is also the most beautiful she has ever looked after a shed. Her colors pop and she seems to have a glow about her.
