The best way to honor America’s workers this Labor Day is to protect and enshrine their right to make labor choices that are best for themselves and their families.
The ALEC Right to Work Act reaffirms workers’ freedom of association by protecting them from being forced to join or pay fees to a union as a condition of employment. The ALEC Uniform Worker Classification Act simplifies the criteria used to define independent contractors, giving workers and business owners necessary clarity and flexibility in setting working relationships.
