Villa del Balbianello

Probably one of my favorite places in all of Lake Como is the beautiful Villa del Balbianello.

Originally a private residence, the villa is now a museum owned and managed by the Italian National Trust, FAI. This is one of the highlights of the "must see/do" in Lake Como and I can assure you it will not disappoint.

The views across Bellagio and the Alps from the most iconic point (the three arched porches) are simply stunning. During the high season you often see people saying "I do's" here, can you imagine this as the backdrop for your wedding photos?
