My Friend Cracker

This is my morning buddy, Cracker the Great White Heron aka Greater Egret. He hands out with my best friends and myself each morning. He's got so much personality that it's crazy. Once you get to know one of these big birds on a personal level, where they come when you call their name even though you don't feed them, it's an amazing friendship. I like to think he hangs out with us because he actually likes us.
