We are a Royal Priesthood

Christians are to be part of a holy nation and a royal priesthood according to 1 Peter 2:9. Dr. Myles teaches that when Peter was writing to Jewish believers, only men from the tribe of Levi could be priests — but there was no royal blood in the Levite tribe, so the early believers understood that Peter was referring to an entirely new and divine priesthood.
