Inflation in the U.S. seems to be pretty bad, as I learned from Fox News, youtube's "New York Survival", etc. Even in Japan, gasoline prices are still in the 160 yen range. The rice paddies in Japan have been hit by heavy water and flooding, perhaps due to man-made weather conditions. Rice prices may soar this year. Rice cannot be grown without rice paddies, but vegetables can be grown if you have a garden. I have decided to expand my garden area with my own garden.
