We made it to Machu Picchu! We decided to hike up. We began our hike at 4 am, however the gates open at 4:30. It took us about 2 hours to reach the top. For us it was a challenging hike as we haven't done anything like this for some time. The trail is steap. Take your time, bring a lot of water.
