From Revelation 13, we read about two beasts. The Bible uses the term beast to refer to a power, nation, or kingdom (Daniel 7:17, 23). Thus, Revelation 13 gives us a prophetic insight into the operations of two world powers that will have an effect on the lives of earth's inhabitants as the great controversy between Christ and Satan rushes an end.
