Fake understanding and real family. (Matthew 12:38-50)

Kinda came out of nowhere for me to continue on but having done it it makes sense. You have a group of people who are supposed to know the TaNaK (Hebrew Bible, Old Testament) completely, having every verse and chapter memorized and yet they miss the point entirely. Then as HE is speaking to the teachers HE explains what family truly is to HIM. Following the Spirit to fully understand the letter. Nifty how JESUS will just point out the difference while still showing grace to those who might be almost there. That's a level of mercy and love is truly Grace! Undeserved, unreserved, and with a level of tender, loving, care, that we cannot truly fathom that holds to us with a love deeper than anything this world will ever have to offer.
