CHLOE from Yorkshire is inspired by gyaru - a Japanese fashion subculture. The subculture is recognised by its many layers of tan and eyeliner. The 22-year-old says that gyaru means a lot to her as it helped to change the perception of herself from something very negative into something a lot more positive. It takes Chloe a whopping two hours to get ready every day as she says: "Makeup is everything in gyaru, without the makeup there is no gyaru."
