Today, we'll discuss the effects of daily, 10-minute runs on the human body. Any runner will be able to share their experiences regarding how a good run instantly elevates their attitude. A well-known and supported by science benefit of lacing up some running shoes and putting in some miles is the "runner's high," that euphoric sensation you get when your body starts producing endorphins.
What additional advantages does jogging provide for the human body, other than elevating mood? What Physiological Changes Occur During a 10-Minute Run? But have you ever considered the physical changes a 10-minute run makes on your body? The next time you hit the pavement, whether you're an expert runner or a beginner, pay attention to how your body changes during the distance. You'll run farther and faster if you know what your body experiences.
Your muscles start using adenosine triphosphate as soon as you start running (ATP). Your cells start to break down the kind of glucose (fuel) stored in your muscles called glycogen in order to release more ATP. Your brain will notify you that you are experiencing physical stress when your body needs more glucose and your muscles release lactic acid (commonly known as "the burn").
Running will have a positive impact on the body's composition. Body form results in leaner muscles, healthier, denser bones, improved lungs, and increased fat burning.
