Review : Just what you need for small jobs
"I bought the 1 gallon version first and it proved too be too small even for a small job.
So I returned it and decided to go with this one. I think it's the right choice for small jobs. The tank has 2.5 American gallons and fills at 200 PSI (the smaller version only fills at 165 PSI and only holds 1 American Gallon).
It does have two connectors, but it doesn't mean that two people can use it at the same time -- the motor will start every minute (...or so - depending on what's at the other end of the hose...). The advantage of having two connectors is that you can have two tools connected at the same time - no need to waste time switching between a brad nail gun and a finish gun or a flooring tool...
It's not too loud, it doesn't draw enough current to pop the fuses in the house, it holds pressure very well.
The reason I'm not giving it five starts is because it shuts off at 190 PSI instead of 200 PSI and the pump is still going for a couple of seconds after the engine turns off, which causes the hole thing to shake and sound like a sputtering car...
I'm going to test it with a paint gun, see if it's appropriate for painting the walls rather than using paint brushes and rollers... I have no idea how much air those paint guns use, but I'll give it a try.
Word of advise: if you don't use the second connector, use the finger from a rubber glove or something else to protect it from dust and other stuff going in while in use (I even protect the connectors while in storage)."
