Evolution and Gender: The Truth Behind the Pronoun Lunacy

Gender. It has become one of the most devisive and controversial subjects of our time. What began as an attempt to accomodate transgendered people by acquiesing to the use of their preferred prounoun has expanded even to the extent that people are identifying as cats or clowns and insist on being referred to as cat-self or clown-self. Reactions to this politically incendiary trend range from outright rage to bemused bafflement. Is it indicative of the dissolution of traditional values, or a sort of dumb joke that will eventually go the way of flat top haircuts and disco? Or is it something deeper.
