Keanu Reeves is BACK for Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty!

Nearly two years since release, the Night City Wire gave us a short teaser for Cyberpunk 2077‘s first story expansion. Phantom Liberty is a spy-thriller set in an all-new district of Night City. Keanu Reeves popped into the stream as well to say that he will be returning to reprise the role of Johnny Silverhand when the DLC launches in 2023 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Google Stadia, and PC. Cyberpunk 2077 didn't have the smoothest launch in December 2020, but it went on to sell 18 million copies, making it one of the most commercially successful RPGs in the history of video games.

“Phantom Liberty” will introduce a new cast of characters, who protagonist V will come into contact with inside a new location within Night City. Hollywood star Keanu Reeves will also reprise his role as rebel rocker Johnny Silverhand.

“Johnny Silverhand is coming back and so am I,” Reeves said in a video message. “Get ready for ‘Phantom Liberty,’ the upcoming expansion for Cyberpunk 2077. It’s awesome to be back playing the role of Johnny and I hope you’re excited to see him rock it out once more in the dark future. Keep an eye out for more info and I’ll see you again in Night City.”
