It starts saying “Most ancient civilizations had some form of slavery. The ancient Hebrews adopted quite sophisticated rules around slaves and the behavior of their masters. The Hebrew concept of slavery seemed primarily to be about working off a debt.” and goes from there to show how we’ve all become “debt slaves”.
