Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping are set to meet in Uzbekistan next week, an official said on Wednesday. The meeting will take place at the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation summit in Samarkand, said Russian Ambassador to China Andrei Denisov. Xi and Putin last met in Beijing in February, few weeks before Moscow ordered the invasion of Ukraine.
