Do You Avoid Pain? / WWY Q&A 36

Today I, Noe with Walk with Yah (WWY), ask the question ‘Do You Avoid Pain?’ which may sound like a weird question at first but listen as I developsthe context. Starting with asking another question: "Are there any advantages to experiencing pain?"

The Bible has something very interesting to say in relation to this about Yeshua: Heb 5:8 though being a Son, He learned obedience by what He suffered.

Do I like giving this message? No I don’t. My flesh doesn’t like suffering but I have to apply the Bible as a whole and not just focus on the verses I like. It helps me to see the bigger picture which helps make it make sense and worth it even though I struggle as well at times.

I also say that with caution as I know some people are going through some extreme challenges right now and I don’t want to come off as being cold & insensitive but at the same time I have to honor His Word - so please forgive me if I am offending you. I only say this trying to be encouraging and not to speak in a ‘you just need more faith’ condescending kind of way.

Many people believe their problems are in the past and they just want to leave them there. They don’t want to go through the pain of going back to that point of hurt. In deliverance ministry, that has to be done at times.

But regardless, sometimes deliverance can be a tough process. And I won’t ever push a person farther than they are willing to go. This may mean that the process will take much longer and that’s ok. Some people are in great pain and even Yeshua/Jesus Himself won’t make us do anything we don’t want to do and take our freewill away from us (Deu 30:19-20, Isa 48:18, Mat 22:37) but will love us as we are.
