A Walking Song by J.R.R.Tolkien

Thankyou to Flying Ace for suggesting I have a go at this one.

The last stanza of the poem was used as the basis for 'Pippin's Song' in the Peter Jackson adaptation of Lord of the Rings. The full poem is a lot less menacing.
