Expansion Pack
After the release of the sourcebook, the game was followed by two expansion packs. In 2009, with the 1.50 patch for Battlefield 2, both expansion packs became free content to be installed with the game's upgrade patch.
Battlefield 2: Euro Force, which added new EU forces and corresponding soldier models and vehicles, added new maps.
